BREAKING NEWS: DPO Lauds Monarch Over Suppor


The retiring Divisional Police Officer of Woji Police Station, Mr. Joseph Ogunlade, has lauded Eze Oha Evo III, King Leslie Nyebuchi Eke over his support to the Police and ranked Woji Community low in crime rate.
Ogundele revealed this when Eke gave him a farewell treatment of ‘Okwo Ekperi’ as a mark of honour at his palace in Woji in Obio/Akpor Local Government Area recently of Rivers State.
According to him, the community’s low crime rate was achieved due to the collaborative effort of King Eke and his people.
Ogunlade described his host as a man of peace which was evidenced in his leadership style, thus, the peace in the community. Meanwhile, Ogunlade and his team have received a royal pat on the back over their transparent policing of the entire Kingdom. In his remarks, the Evo King, said part of the reasons for honouring Ogundele was his notable intergity and professional approach.

Meanwhile  Kwale Divisional Police Officer Bags UN Peace Award The Divisional police officer in charge of Kwale division Delta State, CSP Edwin Igoche Okoh, has been nominated for an international peace award by the International Association of World Peace Advocate (IAWPA). The association is an arm of the United Nations which campaign for peace across the world. It also recognise individuals who have contributed towards the advancement of world peace. In a press release made available to news men in Port Harcourt, the organisation said CSP Edwin Igoche Okoh had done so much towards the promotion of peace not only in his division but across the Niger Delta region. It also praised him for his numerous humanitarian activities. According to the release signed by Comrade Isaac Christian, the DPO had helped to free some youths allegedly indicted for crime they never committed.
