Non Indigenes Have A Reason To Trust The State Governor Alhaji A A Sule: Prof. Gurku

Non indigenes in Nasarawa State have been assured that they have reasons to trust the state governor Alhaji A A Sule for second term. The state's Commissioner for Science, Technology and Innovation Prof. Umaru M. Gurku made this appeal when he spoke with Newsmen in Gurku, KARU Local government area.   

He said KARU Local Government which has always been peaceful experienced greater peace with the emergence of A A Sule, stressing that with his second term bid, the non indigenes should be rest assured that they will have a better working relationship with the governor.

Prof. Umaru M Gurku regretted the resort to religious sentiments by some political leaders in the state describing it as a worrisome development which must not be encouraged. 

He described Nasarawa State as a peaceful state where christians and muslims hve lived together without rancour.

"it is regrettable that some clerics have resorted to playing ethnic politics in our dear state which has been very peaceful all these while. 

I am urging Nasarawa people including non indigenes to resist the urge to fall into proponents of this religious divisiveness" the statement said.
Prof. Gurku called on the people of the state to concentrate on those who can deliver the dividends of democracy to the people of the state hence the need to Support His Excellency Alhaji A A Sule for governor and Hon. Steven Narai into the state House of Assembly.
